EFL Language Coaching with

OODLES of fun

My intention, while you are studying English (EFL) with me, is that you have OODLES of fun.

I call my style of teaching communicative because my main intention is that you start using the language confidently as soon as possible.

The lessons’ material build on real life situation such as watching sitcoms, watching film extracts, reading parts from various novels,  playing games, discussing different topics, having chit-chats of different topics, even going to places … I draw my materials from life so you can learn the ‘living’ language, just like a child does when s/he learns his/her mother tongue.

I adapt to you. I detect your style of learning and understanding then I create the learning material around your interests, abilities and learning style.

I don’t teach English the traditional way, in the classroom style. My intention is to maintain your motivation of acquiring the language. Just like a child, step by step, you ‘inhale’ the language by acquiring it and ‘exhale’ it by using it. The longer you are exposed to the language, the more you ‘pick it up’.

In the meantime we shall have some serious fun, and oodles of it!

My job is to guide you through the wilderness of an unknown territory until you get familiar with it and you can walk on your own.

Back to Basics – Language Acquisition @ Large!

Patricia Kuhl studies how we learn language as babies, looking at the ways our brains form around language acquisition.

Patricia Kuhl shares astonishing findings about how babies learn one language over another — by listening to the humans around them and “taking statistics” on the sounds they need to know. Clever lab experiments (and brain scans) show how 6-month-old babies use sophisticated reasoning to understand their world.
